Operations Manager at Garden State Tile Distributors – Berlin, New Jersey

Garden State Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Design Sales Consultant to join our TEAM! As a Operations Manager, you are responsible to direct and coordinate all facets of the operation including the showroom and warehouse ensuring customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of concierge customer service to every client both existing and through the cultivation of new relationships including tile contractors, kitchen/bath, residential home builders and remodelers, interior designers, and homeowners.

This position offers a competitive base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year with the potential for additional uncapped earnings through commission and bonuses based on sales performance, allowing top performers to earn significantly more.

Garden State Tile’s facility is equipped with state-of-the-art wireless warehouse technology uses Epicor Prophet 21 technology and is conveniently located on Route 73 South, approximately 12 miles south of Route 70 Berlin, New Jersey. Our 3,000 square foot showroom exhibits unique vignettes and tile designs that show how to bring different textures and finishes into your home. We offer free design service to help turn a vision into a reality. Builders, architects, and designers are invited to schedule private consultations with clients in our design friendly showroom.

Current scheduling for this position is full time 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday.

• Charged with improving performance, monitoring inventory, productivity, efficiency, growth, and profitability through the implementation of effective methods, strategies, and personnel.
• Recruit, train, manage, support, and retain staff through setting procedures and exemplifying company values.
• Provide open communication with staff, team members, and management.
• Responsible for providing effective, accurate and timely customer service for all internal and external customers as well as team members.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial, and operational goals.
• Build loyalty with existing relationships while providing concierge customer service and continue to build new relationships to expand the business coming in.

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient operation through the adherence of federal, local and company policies.
