Autonomous Vehicle Heavy Equipment Operator at WME Express – Gibson, Louisiana

Were is seeking Heavy Machinery Operators to help operate and test large mining vehicles. In this role, you will safely drive 20-ton mining vehicles, inspect equipment, and provide feedback to engineering teams to help improve vehicle performance and safety.

• Safely operate 20-ton mining vehicles and other fleet vehicles.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR reports.

• Report maintenance or performance issues.

• Support hardware and software testing of vehicles.

• Provide clear written and verbal feedback to engineering teams.

• Follow all safety and compliance standards.

• Travel up to 50% for field testing and operations.

• 5+ years of heavy machinery operating experience.

• Comfortable driving and backing large vehicles.

• CDL A is a plus but not required.

• Must live within 35 miles of Morgan City, Louisiana

• Must pass background check, road test, DOT drug test, MVR, and physical.

• Clean driving record with limited violations and no serious offenses.

• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

• Team player with interest in advanced vehicle or autonomous technology.
