Assembly Technician – Wood Box / Crate Builder at Mactech Inc – Red Wing, Minnesota

At Mactech, we build solutions for some of the toughest industrial challenges out there—and that includes how our equipment gets protected and shipped. We’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician – Wood Box/Crate Builder to join our team and help build custom crates and packaging that keep our work safe from shop to jobsite.

What You’ll Do:

• Build custom and standard wood crates, boxes, skids, and pallets

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools

• Work from drawings, work orders, and team direction

• Ensure crates meet Mactech quality and safety standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Support shipping and operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Woodworking, assembly, or construction experience preferred

• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely

• Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Team-first mindset aligned with Mactech’s safety culture

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
