About This Position
About Kreate
Kreate is a family-owned plastic injection molding company headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, with operations across five states. We create consumer goods sold by major retailers—products that improve everyday experiences for the people who use them.
What makes Kreate different is how we think. We’re on a mission to reimagine familiar product categories and turn “same old” into “new and improved.” That mindset drives everything we do—from product development and manufacturing to how we invest in our people and run our operations.
Innovation at Kreate isn’t limited to engineering or design teams. It shows up on the plant floor, in continuous improvement efforts, in how we adopt new technologies, and in how we support our teams. We’re always evolving—our processes, our tools, and our capabilities—because we believe the best ideas can come from anywhere.
As a family-owned company, we take a long-term approach to growth. We value accountability, collaboration, and people who take pride in their work. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact, learn new skills, and help shape how we build products and run our business.
If you’re looking for a place where innovation is expected, initiative is encouraged, and your work truly matters, we’d love to Kreate the future together.
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician who will play a critical role in keeping our high-volume injection molding operation running at peak efficiency. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (80T–1500T range), ancillary equipment (chillers, air compressors, dryers, conveyors, grinders), and general facility systems.
This is not an entry-level role — you must bring solid experience in fluid power systems (hydraulics & pneumatics), advanced electrical troubleshooting, and pneumatic controls. Your work directly impacts downtime, scrap rates, and overall plant performance. If you take pride in diagnosing and fixing complex equipment quickly and correctly, this is a terrific opportunity to join a stable, growing plastics manufacturer. *THIS POSITION IS FOR NIGHT SHIFT (7PM-7:30AM) on a 2-2-3 work schedule.

- Advanced electrical systems (motors, VFDs, sensors, wiring, control panels, and safety circuits)
- Pneumatic controls (valves, actuators, air logic, regulators, and complete pneumatic circuits)
- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment, and conduits throughout the facility.
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot efficiently.
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and installations (lighting, compressed air lines, plumbing, etc.).
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
- Provide clear hand-off communication to the incoming shift and escalate key issues to the Maintenance Lead and Production Manager.
- Work closely with the production team to support OEE goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete all assigned tasks and other duties as required.

- Fluid power (hydraulics & pneumatics) troubleshooting, component replacement, and system adjustments
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting (480V, 240V, 120V, 24V DC, controls, and instrumentation)
- Pneumatic control systems (circuit design, valve banks, actuators, and air logic)
- Ability to read and work from electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (50+ lbs. regularly), and work in a fast-paced environment.
