X-Ray Tech at Akicita Federal, LLC – Portland, Oregon

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and portable x-rays throughout the medical center.

Prepare and set up x-ray rooms, ensuring sterile supplies and contrast materials are available.

Check equipment functionality and report any technical problems to supervisors.

Adhere to infection control standards and ensure patient safety during care.

Edit images for quality, positioning, and appropriate identification.

Provides diagnostic radiologic services and performs routine to complex examinations, including chest, joints, extremities, and barium enemas, to assist in medical diagnosis and treatment.

Education/Certification: Successful completion of an accredited training program; ARRT certification as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

Life Support: Must hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)certification.

Experience: At least two years of experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment.

Recent Practice: Must have worked as an X-Ray Tech in a hospital lab setting within the last six months.
