Regulatory Intern assists the Regulatory Specialist in ensuring compliance with government regulations, industry standards, and company policies. This role involves conducting research, preparing documentation, supporting regulatory submissions, and collaborating with internal departments to maintain compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Raw Material Data Collection: Gather and verify regulatory information from suppliers regarding raw materials.
  • Data Entry & System Management: Enter regulatory data into a database which will be used to generate regulatory data summaries for finished products.
  • Regulatory Compliance Research: Assist in researching and understanding relevant industry regulations to ensure that raw materials comply with local and international standards.
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Support: Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of safety data sheets (SDS) for products, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Product Labeling Support: Gain exposure to the regulatory requirements for industrial product labeling and assist in the development and management of compliant labels
  • Cross-Functional Learning: Collaborate with teams across quality control, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs to gain a comprehensive understanding of product safety and compliance in multiple product categories.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand government regulations
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and database and compliance software
  • Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory spreadsheet in Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as: Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Biology.

Scheduled Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:00 pm full time hourly paid internship. Location Menomonee Falls, this is an onsite position.
