POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the ITM Banker is to assist ITM customers with banking transactions through the use of video and telecommunication equipment. This position will build relationships with video banking customers, identify sales and cross-sell opportunities. The employee must be comfortable with technology, proficient at multi-tasking, and knowledgeable for products and services focusing on overall customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Deliver high quality service to customers through video, using an Interactive Teller Machine. This includes providing step-by-step guidance through the ITM process.

Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a virtual environment.

Assist customers with teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, cash advances, debit card transactions and processes. Other duties might include account maintenance such as address changes, stop payments, holds, check orders, etc.

Maintain and balance a cash drawer.

Responsible for providing a positive customer experience through accurate, professional, and exceptional service being cognizant that actions, gestures and facial expressions are being viewed by each customer.

Building relationships with customers and identifying sales opportunities including new deposit accounts, loan opportunities, and other BancFirst products and services.

Knowledge of all retail products and services while focusing on customer satisfaction.

Protect the customer’s confidentiality and privacy.

Adhere to security procedures.

Assist with other job related duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

2 years minimum teller experience

Retail/Personal Banking skills desirable

General knowledge of banking laws and regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications

Ability to perform comfortably and professionally while engaging customers via video interaction

Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor

Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing

Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines

Work well individually and with all kinds of people

Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks

Critical thinking skills- Able to consider all options to assist the customer

Excellent work ethic required

Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the branch environment

Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job

PREFERRED SKILLS

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday


Long periods of typing and repetitive motion


Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds
