This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior CI/CD Engineer - REMOTE. This role plays a critical part in advancing the technical capabilities of our partner by ensuring the successful integration and delivery of software through continuous integration and deployment practices. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and streamline operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative projects while leading the implementation of modern CI/CD practices. Accountabilities
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality and deployment efficiency.
  • Oversee containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct thorough code quality analysis to maintain standards.
  • Mentor junior team members in best CI/CD practices.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration.
  • 1 year of experience with GitLab CI.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
  • Proficient in RPM packaging and Puppet modules.
  • 3 years of experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Practical knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and software build management.
  • Strong competencies in Git version control.
  • Proficient with JIRA and Confluence for project management.
  • Experience in microservices using Quarkus frameworks.
  • At least 7 years in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Fluent in German, C1 level required.
