This role is a senior leadership opportunity in digital political strategy and fundraising, focused on driving high-impact campaigns across multiple channels. The Vice President, Digital (Political) will lead cross-functional teams, develop innovative digital fundraising and advocacy programs, and work directly with political partners to optimize supporter engagement and campaign performance. The position demands a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and can deliver measurable results while mentoring a team of associates, strategists, writers, and production staff. Success in this role directly contributes to campaign outcomes and advances organizational goals. You will have the opportunity to shape digital strategy across email, social, web, and search while working with high-profile campaigns and progressive political committees. Accountabilities:
  • Design and execute cross-channel digital fundraising, advocacy, and communications campaigns.
  • Lead and manage a team of associates, strategists, writers, and production staff to deliver high-quality client campaigns.
  • Develop strategies with political partners to maximize grassroots fundraising using creative and technology solutions.
  • Advise clients on industry best practices, emerging strategies, and digital marketing trends.
  • Oversee campaign budgets, KPIs, and revenue forecasting to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, including onboarding new partners and providing strategic planning and reporting.
  • Coordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables with internal teams including technology and creative staff.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of in-house political or agency experience in digital fundraising, advocacy, or communications.
  • Proven client management experience and ability to maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading complex projects to successful execution.
  • Ability to juggle multiple campaigns in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with eCRM platforms such as ActionKit, NGP, Salesforce, or Luminate.
  • Passion for social change and advancing progressive political outcomes.
  • Ability to work remotely and provide support during high-volume periods, including nights and weekends if necessary.
