About This Position

In this role, you will provide exceptional technology support and education to residents, enabling them to fully utilize technology to enrich their lives. This role also provides technical support to our team members, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

This job position is part-time, working 20 hours per week. We offer a competitive wage with an annual increase. The wage scale for this position is $15.27 to $19.74 per hour. Duties:

  • Offer one-on-one technology support to residents, troubleshooting a variety of devices and software applications.
  • Conduct technology workshops to empower residents with digital literacy skills.
  • Provide technical support to team members via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software.
  • Provide end-user training on computer systems and software.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements to deliver optimal support.
  • Participate in IT projects as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to comply with HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain a close working relationship with all department directors and team members.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, understanding, and tact in interactions with residents and team members.
  • Ability to cope with a sense of urgency associated with the scheduled services for the residents.
  • Ability to understand and express thoughts in written and spoken English to and with others so they will understand.
  • Ability to problem solve with a variety of variables and accurately interpret instructions.
  • Ability to adjust to interruptions in work routine and reorganize workload.
Requirements:
  • Proven technical proficiency in a variety of digital devices and software applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on clear and patient instruction.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in customer service or support role preferred.
