About the role

Senior Compliance Operations Specialist is responsible for designing, building and maintaining compliance tools and the supporting operational processes that enables effective and efficient compliance oversight and help teams meet global regulatory requirements in practice.

The role focuses on translating compliance requirements such as horizon scanning, regulatory reporting, training, monitoring and testing and action validation into clear, efficient and well governed workflows, supported by high-quality data, evidence capture and management information. Working closely with teams across the business, the role drives consistency, scalability and operational resilience across day-to-day compliance activities.

A key element of the role is to design and develop the use of automation and Al enabled solutions to improve efficiency, enhance data quality, reduce manual effort and support proactive compliance monitoring and reporting.

What you'll do
1. Compliance Process Transformation

• Lead the transformation of manual compliance processes into efficient, tool driven- solutions.
• Redesign end-to-end compliance workflows to improve consistency, transparency- and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance processes are scalable and embedded into day-to-day- business operations.
• Collaborate with Global Risk team to ensure inter-operability of Risk and Compliance solutions.

2. Jira Implementation

• Lead the implementation and rollout of Jira as the core platform for managing compliance activities.
• Design and maintain Jira workflows to support compliance processes across the organisation.
• Own the ongoing configuration, governance and optimisation of Jira usage across Compliance.

3. Automation & Al enablement

• Identify opportunities to automate compliance processes and reduce manual effort.
• Develop and implement Al enabled solutions to enhance data quality, monitoring, reporting-and insight generation.
• Support a forward looking, technology-enabled- compliance operating model.

4. Governance and Continuous improvement

• Develop and maintain all operational, governance and procedural documentation related to compliance tooling and processes.
• Define and maintain standards for data quality, reporting and record-keeping.
• Continuously improve compliance tooling and processes in response to regulatory change, supervisory feedback and operational needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and embedding tool based compliance workflows, including evidence capture, approvals, issue tracking, assurance activity- and management reporting.
• Experience leveraging automation and Al enabled- capabilities to reduce manual effort, improve data quality.
• Strong compliance domain expertise, with the ability to translate business requirements and regulatory obligations into practical, operational processes that work at scale.
• Strong Jira administration and workflow design capability, including configuring workflows to support compliance processes and owning ongoing governance/optimisation of Jira usage across Compliance
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth fintech/payments environment.
