POSITION SUMMARY:

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the medical practice, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality patient care, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves managing staff, optimizing scheduling and billing processes, and collaborating with clinical leadership to support strategic goals. The Practice Manager serves as a key liaison between administrative and clinical teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and support front office, clinical, and administrative staff.
  • Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor billing, collections, and revenue cycle performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with physicians and leadership to implement practice goals.
  • Address patient concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
  • Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical office management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, billing, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and practice management software.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a diverse team.
  • Commitment to patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Exerting up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform an activity including viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, interpretation, etc.
  • Must possess the physical, mental, and cognitive skills needed to complete essential tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for comprehension, problem-solving, and timely decision-making.
  • Must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods of time
