Chef de Cuisine - Pineapple House of Sapphire Lakes, Naples
Pineapple House of Sapphire Lakes is excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our vibrant food service department within our beautiful community in Naples. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their leadership skills while actively participating in daily kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the food service department, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
- Work on the line at least four days a week, demonstrating culinary expertise and maintaining consistency
- Develop and update menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with management to plan special events and community dining programs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a professional chef, with leadership responsibilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work at least four days a week on the line
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Passion for creating high-quality, appealing dishes and enhancing resident satisfaction
