Accounting & Tax Compliance Manager at PBACO Holding LLC – Palm Springs, Florida

Overview

Future Healthcare Alliance is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Controller with a strong tax background and active CPA to lead accounting and financial reporting across multiple healthcare entities. This is a hands-on, in-office role supporting a growing healthcare organization and partnering closely with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP)
• Manage accounting and consolidation for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions
• Lead all federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings
• Monitor tax law and healthcare regulatory changes to ensure compliance
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvements

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA license (required)
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong tax compliance and reporting experience
• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
• Ability to work fully in-office

Preferred

• Healthcare industry experience (MSO, physician groups, or multi-entity healthcare organizations)
• Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
• Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement and regulatory environments
