About This Position

Essential Functions
Summary: The Warehouse Lead – Electrical Tent is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily warehouse and material flow activities in support of electrical integration and production. This position ensures electrical materials, tools, and wire carts are accurately stocked, organized, and production-ready while serving as a key point of coordination between warehouse operations and the electrical team.
This role leads by example on the floor, supporting teammates, maintaining inventory accuracy, and promoting safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as the day-to-day lead for the Electrical Tent warehouse area.
  • Coordinate priorities and material flow to support electrical production schedules.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for electrical material availability and organization.
  • Support and guide teammates through standard work, safety practices, and expectations.
  • Communicate material needs, shortages, and workflow updates to leadership.
  • Organize and maintain electrical inventory locations, wire carts, and storage areas with clear labeling and standards.
  • Manage inventory using MRP/ERP systems (Dynamics 365), including monitoring stock levels and usage.
  • Assist with generating purchase orders and work orders for electrical materials.
  • Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support corrective actions.
  • Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming electrical materials.
  • Stock, stage, and replenish electrical wire carts, conduit, enclosures, and components.
  • Support electricians by ensuring materials and tools are ready when needed.
  • Assist with basic electrical tasks as trained and qualified (e.g., wire pulling, organizing conduit, grounding prep).
  • Read and interpret basic drawings or material lists to understand build requirements.
  • Support quality checks and operational readiness of electrical builds.
  • Lead by example in following and reinforcing OSHA, PPE, and company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and safely operate material-handling equipment.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently with warehouse, electrical, procurement, and production teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, storage efficiency, and electrical tent operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of better tools and processes.

Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of warehouse experience, preferably supporting electrical or manufacturing operations.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and components (apprenticeship or hands-on exposure preferred).
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, material lists, or blueprints.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
