About This Position
The Property Data Collection Specialist at Bees360 is responsible for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle to capture aerial images and videos. This candidate will inspect structures for major insurance carriers for both underwriting and claims purposes. The role requires adherence to all applicable laws and regulations governing UASs, maintaining the company-issued drone, collaborating with stakeholders, and
exhibiting problem-solving skills.
Job Description: (Essential job duties specific to the position)
Perform image data collection using high-resolution cameras via Android or iOS smartphone/Tablet and Drone.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight operations, including airspace coordination, equipment assembly and tear-down, and hazard mitigation.
Operate drones safely and effectively according to regulations and company policies.
Employ proper flight techniques, including smooth maneuvers and capturing images from multiple
angles for accurate analysis.
Troubleshoot technical challenges during inspections, such as signal interference, battery life, and equipment calibration.
Ensure data integrity by regularly checking image quality, sensor accuracy, and proper data storage.
Perform quality checks on collected data to meet client needs.
Collaborate with managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
Interact with insureds to explain the nature of the work being conducted.
Master software, data collection platform, and associated workflows.
Access Bees360 platforms for scheduling and personal profiles.
Review and address personal Dashboard to monitor KPIs.
Deployment during CAT events to meet client expectations.
Service designated territory and maintain state-required personal vehicle insurance.
Maintain a current FAA Part 107 Certification, with reimbursement for successful completion of
renewal.
Report incidents immediately to Operations Manager or Coordinator.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
Foster a positive atmosphere of professionalism, collaboration, and support.
Minimum 40 hours weekly, with expanded hours as business needs arise.
Perform other assigned duties.
Required Equipment
- High-resolution drone (DJI Preferred) that follows all FAA guidelines – approved
equipment list will be provided upon request.
- Adequate equipment to provide 8+ hour daily workload.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address challenges encountered while performing inspections.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage and communicate any delays to the necessary parties.
Ability to perform physically demanding work involving frequent standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting and carrying equipment up to 60 pounds.
Proficiency in using technology platforms and dashboards for data analysis and process improvement.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Willingness to travel away from home and ability to drive for extended periods.
Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Working around commercial hazards.

Education and training required (Minimum academic, commercial, and technical
