WARPING MATERIAL HANDLER at Tietex International Ltd – Spartanburg, South Carolina

The Warping Creeler / Material Handler is responsible for supporting warp preparation operations by supplying yarn to warping equipment, handling and staging materials, and ensuring continuous, efficient production. This role involves creeling yarn packages, transporting materials, monitoring yarn flow, and maintaining an organized work area while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Load, unload, and replace yarn packages on warping creels according to production requirements
• Transport yarn, beams, and related materials to and from the warping department using material handling equipment as needed
• Stage yarn and materials for upcoming production runs to ensure minimal downtime
• Tie-in, thread, or assist with threading yarn ends to support warping operations
• Monitor yarn flow, tension, and alignment to ensure smooth and efficient operation
• Identify and report yarn defects, breaks, shortages, or material issues to supervision
• Assist with creel changes, style changes, and color changeovers as directed
• Maintain accurate material identification and follow inventory control procedures
• Keep creel and warping areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Support warper operators and technicians to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals
• Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Follow all safety rules, quality procedures, and company policies at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous textile manufacturing, warping, creeling, or material handling experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift, move, and handle yarn packages and materials (weights may vary)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn warping processes
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
