• This is a full-time bench repair position (no field service / no remote work)

• Dutch is strongly preferred for onsite communication and safety instructions

Role DescriptionThe Electronics Repair Technician II is a full-time, 100% onsite bench repair role supporting OEM electronics repair operations at the Quest International Service Repair Center (SRC) in Belgium.
This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, testing, repair, and documentation of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
Training is provided on internal procedures, documentation, and OEM workflows.
This is not a field service, installation, freelance, or supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities• Troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic and electro-mechanical devices at the bench
• Perform device disassembly, part replacement, and reassembly
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and diagnostic tools
• Follow service manuals, work instructions, and quality procedures
• Perform functional testing and verification prior to closeout
• Document repair actions and results in tracking systems
• Maintain ESD compliance and a clean, organized work area
• Meet production and quality targets while maintaining repair accuracy
• 2+ years hands-on electronics repair or technical troubleshooting experience
• Experience repairing electronic devices, equipment, or electro-mechanical systems
• Ability to follow technical documentation and structured work instructions
• Comfortable using basic electronic test equipment (multimeter required; oscilloscope is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to document work accurately
• Strong working English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a production environment
• Soldering and rework experience (through-hole and/or surface mount)
• Component-level troubleshooting experience
• Repair experience in telecom, consumer electronics, industrial electronics, or medical devices
• Experience working in ISO-controlled or regulated environments
• Experience with serial-number traceability and repair order workflows
This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to:
• IT helpdesk / ticket-based support only
• software development only
• installation-only or cabling-only work
• field service roles without any bench repair history
• assembly-only work without troubleshooting responsibility
• freelance-only profiles not seeking full-time employment
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional overtime per Belgian labor regulations
• Location: 100% onsite at our Bornem warehouse (Rijksweg 19, 2880 Bornem, Belgium)
• Contract: Belgian employment contract and benefits in accordance with Belgian law
• €22 – €26 gross per hour (firm range depending on experience)
• Compensation is discussed and offered in gross EUR (€) only
