The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Pharmacist for a Part-Time (3 days/week) role. This position serves a critical access hospital with a heavy focus on Rehab and Swing Bed patients. You will manage high-acuity cases, complex drip protocols, and diverse medication therapies in a streamlined, efficient environment.

Schedule & Setting
- Hours: 10-hour day shifts.
- Frequency: 3 days per week (No weekends).
- Environment: Small restock area; critical access hospital.
- Growth: Potential to develop into a Full-Time role.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight: Interpret physician orders; act as the primary drug information resource for medical and nursing staff.
- Specialized Care: Manage medication reconciliation, high-acuity drips, and complex therapies for Rehab/Swing Bed populations.
- Operations: Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals; supervise pharmacy support personnel.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Licensure: Current NYS Pharmacy License.
- Experience: Hospital experience preferred, but Retail experience will be considered for motivated candidates.
- Clinical Skills: Experience with IV Laminar Flow Hoods (or willingness to learn).
- Tech & Soft Skills: Proficiency with clinical information systems; self-directed with excellent communication skills.
Pay & Benefits
- Range: $64.07 – $105.71/hour
- Note: Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

- Hands-On IV Training: We will train you on IV Laminar Flow Hood protocols and sterile compounding if you don't already have experience.
- Clinical Mentorship: Transition your medication knowledge into high-acuity drips and complex therapies through side-by-side collaboration with our nursing and medical teams.
- Focus on Reconciliation: Use your expertise in patient medication history to lead our Medication Reconciliation efforts for Rehab and Swing Bed patients.
- Manageable Pace: Move away from the retail "counter rush" and into a small restock area where you can focus on clinical accuracy and patient outcomes.
