Pay: $21 - $28/hr | DOE

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Black Mountain, NC. This role focuses on precision welding and fabrication of thin-gauge stainless steel used in specialized laboratory refrigeration and climate-control systems.

Responsibilities
• Perform TIG welding on thin-wall stainless steel (22-16 gauge) with a high level of precision
• Cut, fit, and fabricate stainless steel materials to exact specifications
• Complete silver-solder brazing and assist with assembly of components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rulers) to verify tolerances
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support additional production tasks as needed

Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience required
• Experience working with thin-gauge stainless steel preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Basic math skills and familiarity with precision measuring tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs (with assistance)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift experience is a plus
