Job Summary

This work study position offers up to 120 hours between May and August 2026. The invited candidates will be regular MA, or PhD students at Saint Paul University and have experience in conducting literature review, office administration and meeting/event coordination.

Job description

- Administrative tasks: ensure correspondence with stakeholders, organize and attend meetings, and compile a database necessary for the project

- Research: conduct a brief review of the scientific literature on the issue of radicalization to violent extremism and conflict prevention.

Saint Paul University students with relevant experience.

Language requirements

  • English reading, speaking, and writing.
  • French reading, speaking, and writing (considered as an asset).

Statement of Qualifications

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and outreach skills (essential).
  • Self-directedness with advanced abilities to plan, organize and prioritize (essential)
  • Proficiency in computer (MS Office and Zoom) (essential)

Other qualifications

  • Experience academic research
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with quality stakeholder communication
