| Position Summary: | The Training Specialist reports to the Director of Inclusive Community Learning and Practice within UNITAS: Office of Community Enrichment and is primarily responsible for supporting the teaching and learning experiences of faculty and staff that develop a critical consciousness to the world and applying that knowledge to daily practice. This position will work with the Director to deliver training initiatives and arrange suitable training solutions. Specifically, this position facilitates the Advancing Equity and Justice Curriculum, UNITAS: Office of Community Enrichment’s inventory of trainings, and collaborating with campus partners to design tailored sessions to the needs of the audience. This position actively researches best and community practices, creatively constructs and designs training materials, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance, and recognize competence across all levels of the organization. UNITAS: Office of Community Enrichment will be hiring 2 Training Specialists. The anticipated start date for the role is in the month of July. In content development, one Training Specialist will be primarily responsible for developing concurrent curriculum sessions, and one Training Specialist will be primarily responsible for developing singular and micro-learning sessions. Both Training Specialists will be responsible for understanding and facilitating the entire inventory of educational training sessions. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order.
