Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily maintenance activities on feed mill machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.

- Set up and execute maintenance schedules, including routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments.

- Evaluate equipment performance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documenting all work performed and parts used.

- Assist in the installation, replacement, and adjustment of feed mill equipment as needed.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a feed mill or similar industrial setting.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment repair, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance are preferred.

· High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of successful industrial maintenance experience required.

· Ability to perform troubleshooting, repair and assembly of any feed mill equipment.

· Ability to read and speak English.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

· Experience in pneumatic systems including compressors, cylinders and solenoid valve troubleshooting and maintenance.

· Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
