CAREGIVER/CNA/HHA - Consistent Hours at Platinum Care Group – Matteson, Illinois

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 64-year-old client in a home setting. The schedule for this role is 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. This position focuses on companionship, safety supervision, personal care support, and assistance with daily routines both inside and outside the home. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and comfortable supporting a client with mobility limitations while encouraging independence and social engagement.

What You'll do (Key Responsibilities)

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to support emotional well-being.
• Assist with safe outings, errands, and shopping trips as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and support adherence to routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal setup and clean-up.
• Assist with personal care, including shower support as scheduled.
• Support safe mobility using standby assistance and fall precautions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom areas, and taking out garbage.
• Observe and report changes in condition or safety concerns to the care team.
• Provide standby or hands-on assistance with safe transfers and escorting the client during outings and appointments. The caregiver may be required to use their personal vehicle to transport and escort the client safely as needed, while following all agency transportation and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
