Job Overview:

• Company: Conditioned Air Systems Inc.

• Salary/Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour (Salary + Commission and Performance Bonus).

• Location: Onsite (Field Operations - Gainesville, GA)

• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

• Schedule: Monday Friday (Weekends and overtime required).

• Project Scope: HVAC / Mechanical (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Government or Federal)

• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Universal EPA 608, Manufacturer Trainings, and Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity: You will serve as the final authority in bringing complex commercial HVAC systems to life, ensuring peak operational efficiency from day one. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Execute comprehensive pre-functional inspections and start-up procedures for commercial HVAC systems in new construction environments.

• Interpret complex blueprints, submittal data, and manufacturer manuals to ensure every installation meets precise engineering specifications.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, gas, and airflow issues during the critical startup phase to prevent future equipment failure.

• Calibrate advanced controls, thermostats, and sensors to optimize system performance and energy efficiency for the end-user.

• Perform high-stakes repairs on compressors, condensers, and piping systems, including precision brazing of refrigerant lines.

• Collaborate with commissioning agents and installation teams to document system performance and verify full code compliance.

• Communicate technical status updates and safety protocols clearly to site supervisors and customers to ensure project transparency.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service, startup, or a certified technical program.

• Universal EPA 608 certification is strictly required for this position.

• Deep technical knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and commercial refrigeration systems.

• Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting control wiring and high-voltage wiring diagrams.

• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and OSHA requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of a degree or certified program from an accredited HVAC technical school.

• Previous experience working directly with third-party commissioning agents.

• Specialized manufacturer training certifications for major commercial HVAC brands.
