This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and optimize the full suite of talent acquisition technologies, ensuring that recruiting operations run smoothly and efficiently. The manager will own platforms such as ATS and CRM systems, overseeing configuration, integrations, and workflow optimization to enhance both candidate and recruiter experiences. Acting as the primary technology steward, this position requires a combination of hands-on administration, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, IT, and vendor partners. The role also focuses on process improvement, system enhancements, and data-driven reporting to support organizational hiring goals. Candidates will have the chance to shape the technology roadmap while implementing solutions that streamline operations and elevate overall recruitment performance.
The Talent Acquisition Technology Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving the recruiting technology ecosystem to support seamless and effective talent acquisition:
Serve as the primary administrator for ATS, CRM, onboarding, reporting, and other recruiting technology platforms.
Manage day-to-day system configuration, user permissions, workflows, templates, and notifications to align with recruiting operations.
Maintain and optimize integrations with HRIS, job boards, assessment vendors, background screening providers, and other third-party recruiting tools.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and system usage.
Monitor system performance, recommend enhancements, and lead implementations of new features or technologies.
Provide advanced technical support and training to recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members.
Document configuration standards, maintain best practices, and ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes through automation, improved workflows, and system optimization.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, recruiting knowledge, and project management skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, HR, or a related field.
3–5+ years of experience supporting Talent Acquisition or HR technology platforms.
Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (e.g., iCIMS Talent Cloud) and candidate relationship management systems (e.g., Phenom CRM).
Strong understanding of recruiting processes, workflows, and operational best practices.
Experience with HR technology integrations, including vendor connectivity, APIs, or third-party systems.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively across HR, IT, and vendor teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Comfort with change management and training team members on updated processes or technologies.
