Elevating Pain and Vein Management: Join National VIP in delivering compassionate care and shaping the future of Pain and Vein Medicine

The sonographer role at VIP Medical Group plays a pivotal role in supporting our Pain and Vein practice across our locations in Stamford, Yonkers, Hartsdale, Astoria and Clifton.

We are in search of an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about learning and making valuable contributions to our clinical team.

What you'll do

  • Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
  • Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Medical intakes.
  • Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
  • Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
  • Assist during procedures.
  • Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
  • EMR systems.
  • Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.
  • Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
  • RVT or RVS preferred.

The pay range for this role is:
37 - 45 USD per hour(Stamford CT)
