Lead Administrator-Nutanix at GlobexPeople – Manila

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Administrator – Nutanix (L1) to manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments, with strong expertise in Windows Server, Nutanix hypervisor systems, virtualization, and storage technologies.

The role will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing server and storage infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in ERP environments (SAP preferred) and a strong background in systems analysis, implementation, and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Administration

• Administer and manage Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Provide expert-level support for Nutanix hypervisor systems.

• Manage and maintain VMware server infrastructure.

• Perform storage administration including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.

• Support and maintain NetApp storage systems.

• Work with Dell hardware infrastructure.

Virtualization & Hypervisor Management

• Manage and support Nutanix and VMware environments.

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.

Monitoring & Automation

• Utilize monitoring tools such as BigPanda and LogicMonitor.

• Implement automation and configuration management using Ansible.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.

Systems Analysis & Implementation

• Conduct systems analysis for new and existing infrastructure.

• Create technical and functional specifications.

• Support configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions.

• Participate in system improvements and optimization initiatives.

ERP & Enterprise Application Support

• Support infrastructure requirements for ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• Ensure stability and performance of enterprise-critical systems.
  
  Qualifications:
  

• Minimum 5 years of total IT experience in systems administration.

• Strong expertise in:

• Windows Server Administration

• Linux Administration

• Nutanix Hypervisor

• VMware Server Administration

• NetApp Storage

• Enterprise Storage Management

• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Dell hardware.

• Familiarity with:

• BigPanda

• LogicMonitor

• Ansible

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

• Ability to work independently during night shift operations.
