PCT/Nursing Assistant Adult & Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit (Wheeler 4) at Emerson Hospital – Concord, Massachusetts

Reporting to the Medical Surgical Nursing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff. This is a great opportunity to grow your clinical experience while working alongside a collaborative and dedicated healthcare team.

• Assist patients with daily care needs in an adult and pediatric medical surgical unit

• Take and record vital signs accurately

• Support nurses with patient care activities and procedures

• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times

• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams

• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and care standards

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• At least 1 year of acute care or medical/surgical experience preferred

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Healthcare Provider required

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

• Strong patient care and vital signs competency

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
