MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR - ST ANDREW at St. Andrew Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center – Tampa, Colorado

Facility: 45-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our 45-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, St Andrew, located in Tampa, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient manner, while also overseeing housekeeping and laundry departments.

• Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure the facility is compliant with safety and operational standards.
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Maintain and repair facility equipment, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including Life Safety Code (LSC) standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption to facility operations.
• Train and supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code (LSC) regulations is preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple departments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with housekeeping and laundry operations is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
