About This Position
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Senior Civil Engineer, act as a technical sales support capacity for the ACO StormBrixx product lines including:
- Design consultation with ACO technical and sales team members and customers during project design and value engineering alternate phases
- Installation consultation during construction phase
- Operation & maintenance consultation post-construction.
- Use Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Manager software on an as-needed basis
- Assist the Senior Civil Engineer with creation and maintenance of technical tools and documentation including:
- Standard design details
- Written instructions and guides
- Internal and external presentations
- Internal calculation tools
- Assist the Senior Civil Engineer and ACO Research and Development team members with StormBrixx product line developments to ensure that the product line remains relevant to the market applications.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSE) from an ABET-accredited institution
- 0 - 3 years experience in the civil engineering industry
- Knowledge of Civil Site Development including but not limited to site layout, grading, underground infrastructure, and geotechnical report interpretation
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or pursuit of (EIT) preferred
- Proficient AutoCAD preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Available for occasional short-term travel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, adapting to new challenges, and learning new concepts;
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage workloads, maintain accurate and detailed record-keeping skills, documenting design/construction process, and problem resolutions.
- Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members, fostering positive working relationships, customer-centric approach to provide excellent service to customers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring safety and security in all aspects of work, strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, fostering a safe working environment for yourself and others.
