Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all concrete construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of concrete crew members, including foremen, laborers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve any issues or changes in project scope.
  • Manage material orders, inventory, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use on the job site.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare daily reports on work progress, site conditions, and any delays or challenges encountered.
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance skills and efficiency in concrete construction tasks.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished work meets or exceeds project requirements and standards.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.


Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction management or as a Concrete Superintendent.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing concrete projects from inception to completion.
  • Thorough understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Certification in concrete construction or project management is a plus.
