School Social Worker – Therapeutic Day School

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join a therapeutic day school environment for the 2024-2025 school year. This role offers an opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team to support students with IEPs and special education needs.

• Location: Therapeutic day school serving students with diverse needs
• Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (students attend from 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM)
• Caseload: Early Childhood (EC) through 8th grade, all students have IEPs and special education services

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students with diverse and complex needs.
• Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions based on IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure holistic support.
• Participate actively in team meetings and planning sessions to align services.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with IEP requirements.

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience working in special education or therapeutic settings is preferred
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
