Pay based off of experience

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory control and management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, efficient stock control, and timely order fulfillment. As the Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory amounts or costs. You will work closely with our purchasing agent, and material handlers to ensure seamless operations, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This position will be actively performing counts, driving on forklifts/combilifts and working in the shop. Some office time will be needed but the majority of time will be spent in the factory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse management
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Experience with WMS, Excel, and other inventory management software
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Certification in inventory management or supply chain management

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock control
  • Manage and oversee the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends and make recommendations for optimizing inventory levels
  • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate sales order processing and shipping and receiving of materials
  • Lead and manage a team of material handlers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality work
  • Inspect and label all incoming inventory to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Drive a forklift to put inventory away

Additionally, you will collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Your knowledge of WMS and other inventory management software will be critical in managing and overseeing the warehouse management system to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Finally, your ability to monitor and analyze inventory levels will enable you to identify trends and make recommendations for optimizing inventory levels.
