About This Position

A nationwide private investigation company is seeking a full-time SIU Specialist with experience in Heavy Equipment investigations. Any other SIU investigative experience is preferred. Candidates without Heavy Equipment SIU investigative experience will NOT be considered.
This position is not an entry level position. The position is fully remote, desktop and can be located anywhere in the contiguous U.S.
Job duties include reviewing and understanding underwriting documents, taking recorded statements, assigning, and managing case assignments, reviewing others reports, writing detailed, comprehensive reports, as well as meeting strict due dates.

A minimum of 10 years' experience as an SIU Investigator is required.

Field investigation assignments in the incumbent’s local area are possible, however, this position is mainly desk based. The candidate must be able to independently manage a case load including updates and strategy review with clients. This is a Senior level position handling frequent large exposure cases and involvement with organized insurance crime investigations. The position may also handle international cases. The job will frequently have high level client exposure.

The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Heavy Equipment SIU investigations. Additional investigative experience in Cargo and non-auto Property investigations is preferable.
  • Writing accurate and detailed reports
  • Strong initiative, integrity, and work ethic
  • Securing written/recorded statements
  • Accident scene investigations
  • Property Claims
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook email.
Preference given to:
  • Bilingual candidates
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
