Restaurant General Manager at Dough Nation Headquarters – San Antonio, Texas

Purpose:

Plan and direct all restaurant operations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, food safety, health and company inspections. Ensure the efficiency and profitable business performance of the restaurant and utilization of staff and resources.

Responsibilities:

• Set operation goals and objectives
• Assess staffing requirements and recruit staff when needed
• Train and coach staff
• Prepare and implement standard operating procedures
• Ensure alcohol regulations are adhered to
• Oversee preparation of food and beverage items
• Ensure adherence to standard recipe
• Ensure quality of food
• Observe size of food portions and preparations quantities to minimize waste
• Interact with guest to ensure all complaints are handled promptly

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food and beverage management
• Experience in staff management and development
• Knowledge of basic accounting and practices
• Excellent track record of managing inventory and cost control
• Experience in analyzing financial data such as P&L
• Knowledge of planning and forecasting
• Ability to make decision with the best interest of the company
• Ability to work 55+ hours as needed
• Must have previous Bar experience
