TIGER Drylac is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician - St. Charles, IL to maintain the functionality of computer systems, software, and networks to ensure business continuity and productivity. This role serves as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues within our organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings. Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and troubleshoot issues.Computer Hardware: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs as needed.
Manufacturing Technology: Support the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing automation equipment.
SAP Support: Assist in the administration and support of SAP systems. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in collaboration with senior IT staff.
End-User Support: Provide technical support to end-users both in person and remote, resolving hardware and software issues promptly. Conduct training sessions to help users understand and utilize IT resources effectively.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Other / additional tasks
Participate in team meetings.
Interact with co-workers, peers and supervisor in a constructive, productive and cooperative manner to meet team needs.
Regular, predictable, on-site attendance is an essential function of the job.
Drive Full Responsibility and Advice Process throughout the Organization
Follow and Live Liberating Organism (LO) strategies and principles.
QualificationsEducation- Degree or diploma in Information Technology
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles
- Experience in multi-cultural environments is an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with computer hardware, including printers and mobile devices
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of SAP systems
- Understanding of network and security principles
- Basic level of accounting understanding
- Troubleshooting and documentation
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Maintain a customer focused approach
- Strong ability to multitask
- English (speak, read, write) (required)
- Spanish considered an asset
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (extended hours may be required as needed)
- Work in a manufacturing plant environment with industrial equipment - PPE (personal protective equipment) required
- Occasional travel to other North American facilities (U.S. Canada, and Mexico) may be required - up to 10%
