Mobility Team Nursing Assistant at Medical Center Hospital – Odessa, Texas

Assists the professional nursing staff by performing specific mobility team tasks to improve patient activity, mobility and engagement in pressure ulcer prevention tasks.

Qualifications:

A. Education:

High school graduate or equivalent. Active enrollment in accredited University-School of Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant, healthcare experience with competence verified, or a student pursuing a degree in related healthcare field.

B. Required Certifications & Training

1. Current BLS through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.

2. Minimal Lift required annually.

3. Non-licensed clinical carnival required annually.

C. Job Knowledge:

The Mobility Team Nursing Assistant must have the ability to follow instructions precisely with a specific focus on improving patient mobility and activity.
