We’re looking for a Central Communications Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and knows how to turn every interaction into a positive experience. In this role, you’ll serve as the key connection between our clinical team and our patients, ensuring every touchpoint, whether by phone, email, or virtual interaction, is seamless, supportive, and impactful.
What You’ll Do:
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you’ll:
- Deliver outstanding service via inbound/outbound calls and email communication
- Virtually welcome patients, answer questions, and schedule appointments
- Educate patients on treatments, medications, and procedures
- Register patients, verify insurance eligibility, and process payments
- Communicate clinical team updates and standing orders to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records, demographics, and billing information
- Conduct follow-ups and ensure all patient inquiries are resolved promptly
- Keep your workspace organized while maintaining a professional, polished presence
You’re someone who brings energy, empathy, and efficiency to every interaction. You also have:
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service or patient services
- Experience in a medical office setting (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with EHR systems and phone systems (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- A team-first mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
