About the Role:
Spartronics is seeking a results-driven Production Controller to join our team. In this key role, you'll take ownership of planning and coordinating manufacturing workflows to ensure on-time delivery and help us exceed customer expectations. Working alongside cross-functional partners in Program Management, Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality, you'll play a hands-on role in optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and maximizing profitability. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring resources—information, materials, equipment, and personnel—are in the right place at the right time. Job Responsibilities:
- Promote and ensure a safe, respectful, team-based working environment.
- Partner with all stakeholders and functional organizations to ensure timely, accurate information flow and reporting.
- Regularly plan, measure, manage, and report on manufacturing production status to stakeholders.
- Utilize a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach while accommodating changing business needs.
- Plan and prioritize the product sequence for each work center.
- Proactively identify, report, monitor, and remedy constraints.
- Expedite solutions for information, product, material, equipment, and resource needs.
- Manage and develop production plans based on customer demand.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain concerning purchase items that impact the MPS or Production Plan.
- Attend production status meetings as required.
- Help support the creation of the annual operating plan (AOP), i.e., budget.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Work experience in production planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and lean principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-managed.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Works effectively within a team environment.
- Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an Associate degree, or actively enrolled in a program in a related field.
- 3 plus years of progressive experience in the production planning/master scheduling functions.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation: Compensation is based on work experience in manufacturing, education, and prior work experience in electronics manufacturing.
