Associate Billing Analyst at 123Dentist – Toronto, Ontario

Job Overview:

Reporting to and directly supporting the Manager, Associate Billing, we are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Associate Billing Analyst to join our team. The Associate Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting the accurate calculation, analysis, and processing of associate fees, while ensuring data integrity across financial systems. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, Operations, and Clinics to ensure timely payments, accurate reporting, and efficient onboarding of new practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Calculate monthly associate fees in accordance with contractual agreements and post related expenses and payments in Business Central.
• Analyze and reconcile key general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Maintain and update associate records based on information received from HR and Recruitment teams.
• Support onboarding of newly acquired clinics by ensuring proper setup for associate fee calculations and providing guidance to Regional Managers on adjustment standards.
• Review and analyze data from Practice Management Systems and Power BI reports to validate mappings and investigate discrepancies, collaborating with clinics and internal teams as required.
• Respond to associate fee-related inquiries ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide information and support on associate fee-related matters.
• Share knowledge and assist in training team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in calculation processes.
• Participate in continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing and reporting.
• Support ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, billing, or financial analysis.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI and advance Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central and Captivate.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in healthcare or dental industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of dentist Practice Management Software systems is an asset.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
