Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Buyer in Mexico City to develop and maintain strong partnerships with the organization's suppliers and contractors. The Senior Buyer will negotiate and create contracts for Schneider's Corporate Purchasing team.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate and implement cost savings opportunities.
• Provide superior customer service to contractors and suppliers.
• Facilitate problem resolution regarding contracts.
• Report contract statuses during purchasing meetings.
• Research products and services to determine the best quality and price options.
• Provide cost effective solutions to meet internal customers' needs.
• Purchase materials and services for the organization.

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
• 3 years of purchasing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office platforms.
• Background in negotiating processes and procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
