Regional Sales Manager, Refrigeration Systems

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager, Refrigeration Systems in the United States.

As a Regional Sales Manager within the Food Retail vertical, you will drive market share growth for a global leader in HVAC/R and industrial automation. This fully remote role offers end-to-end responsibility for sales pursuits, from cultivating existing key accounts to generating fresh business with new partners. You will operate in a high-impact environment, navigating a matrixed organization to leverage global resources and secure strategic wins. Your work will directly influence the target-state of energy management and refrigeration systems for major retail players across your region. By bridging the gap between technical value propositions and C-suite business goals, you will act as a catalyst for organizational advancement. This is a premier opportunity for a proactive sales leader to own their territory and impact the future of sustainable food retail infrastructure.

Accountabilities:
  • Strategic Growth & Planning: You will develop and execute comprehensive account plans specifically tailored for the Food Retail vertical to expand market presence and surpass sales targets.

  • Business Development: Your mission involves identifying and capturing new business opportunities with non-incumbent accounts while strengthening and expanding relationships with existing key partners.

  • C-Suite Engagement: You will build and maintain high-level relationships at the executive level, effectively communicating the Danfoss value proposition to C-suite stakeholders at both new and existing accounts.

  • Matrix Collaboration: You will participate in monthly business dialogue meetings, communicating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align business requirements with growth objectives.

  • Pipeline Management: You will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality, transparent opportunity pipeline within Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and strategic follow-through.

Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: You possess more than five years of proven sales experience, ideally within the Food Retail, Energy Management, or HVAC/R industries.

  • Education & Business Acumen: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or equivalent professional experience is required, supported by a strong command of business finance and market dynamics.

  • Executive Presence: Demonstrated experience in C-level management and the ability to negotiate complex contracts with senior leadership.

  • Technical & Interpersonal Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools is essential, along with the capacity to work effectively through others in a complex, matrixed global organization.

  • Communication & Mobility: You must have an excellent command of the English language and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time to engage with clients and stakeholders across the region.

  • Legal Authorization: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States; please note that sponsorship and relocation are not offered for this position.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: An annual base salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

  • Flexibility & Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom of a fully remote work model that prioritizes your well-being and healthy work-life balance.

  • Career Development: Access to global opportunities, professional mentoring, and internal training programs with a strong "promote from within" culture.

  • Health & Welfare: Comprehensive personal insurance coverage and well-being support.

  • Retirement & Time Off: Participation in company pension plans and a generous paid vacation policy.

  • Inclusive Environment: A respectful workplace that values diversity and encourages you to bring your authentic self to the team.
