About This Position

Summary:

Performs assigned QA/QC tasks on assigned projects. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs inspection and monitoring of project activities.
  • Performs sampling and testing activities. Documents inspection, monitoring, sampling and testing activities.
  • Monitors quality assurance activities to determine conformance with corporate policy and procedures.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of the quality program for assigned project tasks.
  • Provides periodic reports to the Director QA/QC, or the QA/QC Manager, on the effectiveness of the quality program for assigned tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline.
  • Monitors and controls costs within own work. Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area. Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus
  • Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others. Typically has 5-20 years relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to reach, stand, walk, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motion.
  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be capable of traveling by car or airplane as needed to support business activities.
