Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Boone, North Carolina | Clinic-Based | Non-Exempt

You’ll partner closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality infusion services, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families throughout their treatment journey. Compensation: Hiring range starts at $30.00per hour, commensurate with education, experience, certification, and internal equity.
Status: Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do as an Infusion Registered Nurse-
Administer infusion treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols and provider orders.

Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion therapy.

Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to changes in condition.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Educate patients and families on infusion therapy, medications, potential side effects, and self-care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.

Schedule and coordinate infusion appointments as needed to support clinic operations.

Promote a safe, supportive, and health-conscious work environment.

Adhere to infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required

Previous infusion therapy experience strongly preferred

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required at time of hire

Infusion-related certifications preferred

Proficiency in administering infusion therapies

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and best practices

Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and service excellence

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies

Manual dexterity for administering medications and treatments
