We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise Platform in the United States.This role leads the strategy, development, and delivery of high-scale APIs and enterprise tools that power large-scale platform operations. You will oversee a team of 10+ engineers, shaping technical direction, implementing robust systems, and driving adoption across multiple stakeholders. The position combines hands-on engineering leadership with cross-functional collaboration across product, data, and business teams. Success in this role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, scalability, and developer productivity. You will mentor and grow your team while navigating complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding environment. • Define and own the technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for enterprise APIs, tools, and data models
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of 10+ software engineers, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture
• Design and deliver high-scale, low-latency APIs and distributed services (REST/gRPC), including API contracts, versioning, and schema management
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Business Development, Professional Services, Data Science, and other engineering teams to drive platform adoption and align initiatives with business goals
• Oversee production services end-to-end, including establishing best practices, SLOs/SLAs, incident response, and postmortems
• Improve developer velocity and product quality through tooling, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation including AI-driven solutions
• Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and scalability of enterprise platform systems

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years managing teams of 10+ engineers
• Proven leadership of backend/platform teams building and operating high-scale, low-latency APIs and distributed services
• Hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures, API design (REST/gRPC), data modeling, and schema/version management
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Python) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
• Experience running always-on services: defining SLOs/SLAs, participating in on-call rotations, leading incident response, and driving postmortem improvements
• Demonstrated ability to define and deliver a technical roadmap and execute cross-functional projects end-to-end
• Strong skills in hiring, coaching, and performance management, with a commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise with observability and reliability tooling, resiliency/chaos testing, and developer productivity improvements
• Experience in enterprise platforms, e-commerce, or marketplace systems
• Experience driving platform adoption and balancing long-term technical investments with short-term product needs
• Familiarity with AI-based tools to accelerate engineering delivery
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field
