Position SummaryThe HR Assistant / Recruiter supports Medivant Healthcare’s Human Resources function by assisting with end-to-end recruitment activities, benefits administration support, and day-to-day HR operations. This role plays a key part in talent acquisition, employee lifecycle support, HR documentation, and compliance-related activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred to support effective communication with a diverse workforce.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent AcquisitionSupport full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with offer coordination
Maintain recruitment trackers and applicant records
Support onboarding activities, including new hire documentation and orientation coordination
Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR support
Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll inputs
Assist with employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
Support communication with benefits vendors and brokers as needed
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and enrollment processes
Assist with benefits documentation and compliance tracking
Ensure HR documentation is completed accurately and maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Assist with HR audits, training tracking, and compliance reporting
Prepare HR MIS reports and maintain Excel-based trackers
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in HR operations and/or recruitment
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR documentation
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
