Paralegal at Panish Shea Ravipudi LLP – Los Angeles, California

Prestigious Los Angeles personal injury law firm is seeking a paralegal who want to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, high profile trial law firm that routinely handles significant 7 and 8-figure cases.

Candidates must be able to handle a case from the filing of complaint to trial.

Paralegal Position Job Duties:

• Communicating with clients, experts and witnesses
• Requesting and managing medical records
• Scheduling depositions
• Propounding and responding to initial drafts of written discovery
• Trial preparation including the creation of trial binders
• Attending inspections and medical examinations
• Negotiating medical bills and liens
• Managing case documents electronically
• Compiling evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, and databases
• Preparing legal documents for attorney's review and approval

Qualified candidates MUST have 3+ years of experience as a trial paralegal in California, preferably in plaintiff's litigation. Resumes where litigation experience is not well documented will not be considered. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, have excellent organizational and writing skills and good rapport with clients, be able to handle a heavy case load and have a strong working knowledge of the CCP, FRCP and Evidence Code/Rules. Spanish-speaking and/or experience with Litify and Milana a plus but is not required.
