We are looking for a
Registered Nurse -two evenings- two nights rotation- and a straight evening line- this position has a small neighborhood to monitor as well as support the LPNS- strong nursing and leadership skills are a must.
Experience working in a long term care setting is a must.

As a Registered Nurse your role will involve the following:
- Resident admissions, discharges and transfers
- Resident assessments and care planning
- Administration of medications, treatments and wound care
- Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and RAI Assessments
- Liaises with physicians, families, and other members of the care team
- Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers
Charge Nurse responsibilities
Participates in care conferences and medication reviews.
Wage: based on years of experience
Shifts: eves/nights
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- INTERRAI education
- Competent in electronic documentation and eMar
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Previous experience in Long Term Care
About us: Casa Mia Care is a heritage home offers 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to offer funded beds but also has 32 private pay rooms available.
