Overview

The Treasury Solutions Project Manager is responsible for driving strategic projects, process improvements, and operational excellence within Treasury Solutions. This role focuses on managing initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience across payment platforms, including but not limited to ACH, wires, fraud prevention, lockbox, and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC). Acting as a liaison between business units and technology teams, this position ensures successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement of treasury operations.



Responsibilities

Project Management & Process Improvement (60%)

  • Lead treasury-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables; manage resources and budgets effectively.
  • Create comprehensive schedules, set milestones, and track progress using project management tools.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between operations, technology, risk, and client support teams.
  • Establish and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of project status, changes, and deliverables.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, workflows, and status reports.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), release schedules, and implementation plans for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback loops.
  • Conduct reviews to evaluate project success, document lessons learned, and recommend process improvements for future initiatives.

Operational Support & Governance (30%)

  • Ensure treasury processes comply with regulatory, audit, and risk management standards.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to maintain strong controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audits related to treasury operations.
  • Maintain operational policies, procedures, and training materials for internal teams and clients.

Team Support & Training (10%)

  • Provide guidance on process changes and new workflows to internal teams.
  • Deliver training and onboarding resources for updated procedures and system enhancements.
  • Act as a central point for issue escalation and resolution related to treasury processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships for the Treasury team, ensuring service quality, contract compliance, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in banking or financial services required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in project management and/or process improvement roles.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP,CAPM, or similar) strongly desired. A combination of project management certifications and/or experience in project management/ process improvement roles will be considered.”
  • Familiarity with treasury products (ACH, wires, RDC, fraud services) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify process gaps and implement solutions.


Qualifications

Travel

Must be able to travel to all Bank locations, including subsidiaries.

Work Environment:

Work is performed onsite in an operational office environment.
